Higher Education Commission offers the HEC Need-based Scholarship program for undergraduate students enrolled in 98 national universities. Students enrolled in undergraduate programs at Public Universities, and their sub-campuses can receive the HEC Need-based Scholarship 2021. Only students who are accepted with an open qualification can apply. Students who have been accepted into the fundraising program cannot apply for an HEC-based bursary.

Pakistan is not short of talented young people, but a lack of resources prevents it from realizing its potential in a few cases. This is especially true when it comes to accessing higher education. The Pakistani government acknowledges these challenges and has given the Commission on Higher Education the responsibility to assist needy and deserving students through Scholarship-based Scholarships.

Eligibility Criteria of HEC Need Base Scholarship

  • کسی بھی انڈرگریجویٹ مضامین میں داخلہ لینے والے طلباء اہل ہیں۔
  • فی الحال 4 یا 5 سال کے انڈرگریجویٹ ڈگری پروگرام میں داخلہ لیا ہے۔
  • کھلی میرٹ پر داخلہ لینے والے مالی ضرورت والے طلباء جو پہلے سے حصہ لینے والے اداروں میں داخلہ لے چکے ہیں وہ بھی درخواست دینے کے اہل ہیں۔
  • مالی طور پر مستحق سلاٹس کی تعداد کا فیصلہ یونیورسٹیاں کریں گی۔
  • سلاٹس کے لیے فنڈنگ پروگرام کی مکمل مدت تک جاری رہے گی۔
  • اگر کوئی طالب علم چھوڑ دیتا ہے، تو ان کی جگہ ویٹنگ لسٹ میں موجود دوسرے امیدواروں سے لیا جائے گا۔
  • میڈیسن، فارم-ڈی، اور دیگر پانچ سالہ پروگراموں کے معاملے میں، مکمل پروگرام کے لیے فنڈنگ دستیاب کرائی جائے گی۔
  • مختص کردہ گرانٹ پر غور کرتے ہوئے، یونیورسٹی ٹیوشن فیس کو پورا کرنے کے لیے اسکالرشپ کی کل تعداد کو ایک حد تک ایڈجسٹ کر سکتی ہے۔
  • ٹیوشن فیس کے علاوہ، مکمل پروگرام کے لیے ہر گرانٹی کو 6000/- ماہانہ وظیفہ دیا جائے گا۔



Application Process of  HEC Need-Based Scholarship

  • There are no online applications for HEC Need base scholarship
  • Every University announce the application date for their students
  • Students have to contact their FA&CS Office of University to get the form.
  • Fill that application form with supporting documents and submit it to your University
  • Never send an application form to HEC; only submit the form to your University.
  • After being shortlisted University will display a list of selected students
  • As HEC Need base scholarship is Need Base, so no Test will be conducted for the selection of students
