Fauji Foundation Educational Stipend Scheme (FES) provides scholarships to children of former Forces personnel(Army, Navy, Air Force, Northern Light Infantry, Defence Services Guards, and the 10 Corps Mujahids). The award is made to students enrolled in the classes 1-10 intermediate, undergraduate degree programs that last 4-5 years. This scholarship can also be given to students taking part in technical and professional education.
FFES is the oldest educational welfare measure administered by the Fauji Foundation. Fauji Foundation Education stipend scholarship was launched in 1954, and each year, thousands of students are given this scholarship. The number of awards was around 47,410, while the amount awarded was. 212.556 million.
To award awards, applicants are split into four groups.
Group-1
- Students who are enrolled in Intermediate or DAE
- Minimum of 80% marks in Matric
Group-2
- Students who are enrolled in 4 to 5 years undergraduate degree programs.
- Minimum of 80% marks in FA/FSc
Group-3
- Students who are enrolled in Cadet Colleges
- Pre-Matric Classes
Group-4
- Students in the class 1-10

Fauji Foundation awards educational stipends as a form of assistance to former service personnel and their families for the pursuit of higher education and education inside Pakistan only.
a. Beneficiaries. The term “Beneficiaries” includes the following to be awarded an education stipends: –
- Released as retired, discharged, or released members who are members of the Regular Armed Forces (Army, Navy, Air Force, Northern Light Infantry, Defence Services Guards as well as 10 Corps Mujahids) citizens of Pakistan, AJ& K & Northern Areas who were in the Armed Forces for a minimum of 10 years.
- Widows and wives (unless they have remarried) in 1b (1) above.
- Sons and daughters unmarried or divorced from 1b (1) above.
Fauji Foundation Scholarship Eligibility
Students enrolled in recognized/accredited institutions meeting the following eligibility criteria can apply for the Fauji Foundation scholarship
- Class I and onwards from the beginning of Class I:(a) The children and grandchildren of Shuhada decedents or disabled former service personnel.(b) Children with disabilities who are special needs of former service personnel.
- Class IX from then onwards. Children of all ex-servicemen who are normal.
- Children with disabilities or special needs will receive the stipend when promoted to the next class regardless of marks achieved.
- Students are eligible for a stipend during the courses they are taking, w.e.f the next day of receiving the SOS of their father or mother.
- A maximum of three children of an ordinary ex-serviceman are granted stipends during a time period (in addition to Special/Disabled children). There is however no limit on how many children awarded in the case of disabled, Shuhada and ex-servicemen who have died).
How do I submit an application to be considered for Fauji Foundation Scholarship
Application Formulas. Stipend application forms can be obtained with the cash basis in the amount of Rs.6.00 per form, at the offices of the District Armed Services Board, Fauji Foundation Welfare Projects or at the Fauji Foundation Head Office, the Fauji Foundation Head Office, 68 Tipu Road Chaklala, Rawalpindi Cantt. Students are required to apply each year. Please fill in all fields with care and in Capital letters. All fields must be filled in. Forms that are not completed are rejected. Please read the directions on the form thoroughly.
