About the University of Wah
The University of Wah (UW) is a private higher education school that was established with the goal of achieving excellence in the unbiased transmission of high-quality education to everybody. The University was established in 2009 by the Punjab Provincial Assembly to impart knowledge in the fields of engineering, basic, social, computer, management, and engineering technology while instilling universal Islamic values of truth, goodness, and service to mankind on the one hand and facilitating an active research environment on the other.
In the aforementioned subjects, the University offers 4-year Bachelors, 2-year MPhil/MS, and 3-year Ph.D. programs. Its female students are educated at Mashal Degree College. UW is one of Pakistan’s few universities with a female student and faculty representation that exceeds 50%. Wah Engineering College offers Bachelor of Science degrees in Civil, Chemical, Electrical, Mechanical, and Mechatronics Engineering, as well as Bachelor of Science degrees in Chemical, Civil, Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, and Petroleum Engineering.
