Pakistan Medical Council (PMC) has announced  MDCAT  paper pattern of the academic year 2022.  SO, according to the updated information. All of those students who are willing to take the exam this year are informed thus the authorities altered the examination design. Consequently, the MDCAT paper will be held online on 7th September 2022. PMC posted the related dates and documents for the MDCAT paper pattern 2022.  In other words, students are advised to read the documents to get information about the exam and the paper pattern.

 Updated MDCAT paper pattern:

The MDCAT paper pattern has been released by PMC. Firstly, it contains 200 total MCQs. The time duration to attempt the paper will be 3 hours and 30 minutes. To sum up, candidates need to complete the exam in due time . Additionally, 65% will be the passing percentage for medical students. Comparatively, for MBBS students must take 65% marks. Along with that, the passing marks  in for BDS students are 55%.

Structure:

  • Time duration: 3.5 Hours
  • Number of MCQs in MDCAT : 200
  • Format: online  or also computer-based MCQs
  • Passing marks for dental college/university in order to get admission: 55%
  • Passing marks for medical college/university  in order to get admission: 65%
  •  Another key point  there is no negative marking in MDACT  paper

Subjects :

In MDCAT paper includes five subjects such as  chemistry, Biology, Physics, English, and logical reasoning questions. The percentage and distributions of marks in MDCAT exam correspondingly are given below:
